Welcome to North Alpine. Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to North Alpine. We run this website and store, along with everything connected to it — features, tools, products, and services (together, the "Services") — to give you a curated shopping experience. Our store operates on Shopify's platform.

The terms below, together with any policy we reference here (collectively, these "Terms"), set out your rights and responsibilities when you use our Services. Please read them carefully — they cover important legal topics like warranty disclaimers and limits on liability. By visiting, browsing, or using our Services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our Services.

1. ACCESS AND ACCOUNTS

By accepting these Terms, you confirm you've reached the age of majority in your state or province, and that you authorize any minors in your care to use the Services on devices you own or manage. To shop with us, you may need to provide details like your email, billing, payment, and shipping information. You confirm that everything you submit is accurate, current, and that you're entitled to share it. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Your account isn't transferable, sellable, or licensable to anyone else.

2. OUR PRODUCTS

We work hard to represent our products accurately online, but keep in mind that colors and appearance can look different depending on your screen and device settings. We can't promise that a product will look or perform exactly as shown on our site. Product descriptions may change at any time without notice, and we may discontinue a product or limit how much of it we sell to any person, region, or market, at our discretion.

3. ORDERS

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale — we may accept or decline any order for any reason. An order isn't confirmed until we accept it, and payment must clear before that happens. Please double-check your order before submitting, since we may not be able to accommodate cancellations once it's accepted. If we change, decline, or cancel your order, we'll try to reach you using the email, billing details, or phone number you provided. Returns and exchanges are handled solely according to our Refund Policy. By ordering, you confirm the purchase is for your own personal or household use — not for resale or export.

4. PRICING AND BILLING

Prices, discounts, and promotions can change without warning. You'll be charged the price shown at the time you order, as confirmed in your order email. Unless we say otherwise, listed prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, and any customs or import charges. Prices in our store may differ from what's charged elsewhere, including physical retail or other online channels. Promotions may come with their own separate terms, which take priority over these Terms if there's a conflict. You agree to keep your billing and account information accurate and current — including your email and card details — so we can process orders and reach you when needed. By paying with a card, you confirm the information is correct, that you're authorized to use it, that the charge will be honored by your card issuer, and that you'll pay the listed price plus any applicable shipping and taxes.

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We're not responsible for shipping delays. Delivery estimates are just that — estimates, not guarantees — and we can't be held liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or anything else outside our control. Once we hand your order to the carrier, ownership and risk of loss transfer to you.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Everything on our Services — trademarks, branding, text, images, graphics, reviews, video, audio, and the way it's all arranged — belongs to North Alpine, our affiliates, or our licensors, and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. These Terms let you use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display or perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any part of our content without our written permission. Nothing here grants you any license or right to our (or Shopify's, or any third party's) patents, trademarks, or copyrights beyond what's explicitly stated. Using our Services in unauthorized ways may violate intellectual property law, and we reserve every right not specifically granted to you. Our names, logos, and branding are our trademarks (or those of our affiliates/licensors) and can't be used without our written consent. Shopify's name and branding belong to Shopify. All other names and marks on our Services belong to their respective owners.

7. THIRD-PARTY TOOLS

We may give you access to tools built by third parties as part of our Services. We don't control, monitor, or take responsibility for these tools. They're provided "as is" and "as available," without any guarantees, and we have no liability for how you use them. Using these tools is entirely at your own risk, and it's your responsibility to understand the third-party provider's own terms. Any new tools or features we add in the future are automatically covered by these Terms.

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may link to sites run by other companies. We don't review or vouch for the accuracy of third-party content, and visiting those sites is your own decision and risk. We're not liable for any harm related to third-party websites or anything you buy or use through them. Review their terms carefully before transacting, and direct any complaints about third-party products straight to them.

9. OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

North Alpine runs on Shopify's platform, which makes it possible for us to offer our Services. That said, any purchase you make is a transaction between you and North Alpine — Shopify isn't a party to it and isn't responsible for any aspect of that sale, including injury, loss, or damage tied to the products or services you bought. By using our Services, you release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liability connected to your purchases from us.

10. PRIVACY

Any personal information we collect is handled according to our Privacy Policy, and some of it may also be subject to Shopify's own Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you confirm you've reviewed both. Because Shopify hosts our store, it processes data about how you access and use our Services to help operate and improve them, and information you submit may be shared with Shopify and other parties, potentially in different countries. 11. FEEDBACK

If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews, or any other feedback ("Feedback"), you're granting us a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute it however we see fit, including commercially — for example, to improve or promote our Services. You confirm that you own the rights to your Feedback, that you've disclosed any compensation tied to submitting it, and that it complies with these Terms. Our Services may occasionally include typos, inaccuracies, or missing information related to products, pricing, promotions, shipping costs, or availability. We reserve the right to fix these errors, update information, or cancel affected orders at any time without notice — even after you've already placed an order.

13. PROHIBITED USES

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. We can end this agreement or cut off your access to our Services at any time, for any reason, without notice — and you'll still owe us for anything outstanding as of that date. Sections covering Intellectual Property, Feedback, Termination, Warranty Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver, Entire Agreement, Assignment, Governing Law, Privacy, and anything else that should naturally continue, will survive termination.

15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Content on our Services is provided for general informational purposes only. We don't guarantee it's accurate, complete, or useful, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk. Except where we explicitly say otherwise, our Services and products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without any warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, or non-infringement. We don't promise uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free use of our Services. Some places don't allow these kinds of disclaimers, so they may not fully apply to you.

16. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, North Alpine, our partners, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers, and licensors — along with Shopify and its affiliates — won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or any product purchased through them. This includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, or replacement costs, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise — even if we were warned such damages were possible.

17. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless North Alpine, Shopify, and our respective affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or liabilities — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third party's rights, or your use of our Services. We'll notify you of any claim covered by this section; failing to do so promptly won't excuse your obligations unless it materially harms your defense. We may control the defense at your expense, but won't settle in a way that imposes obligations on you without your consent. You agree to cooperate with our defense as needed.

18. SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed, and the rest of these Terms will remain in full effect.

19. WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If we don't enforce a particular right or provision, that doesn't mean we've waived it. These Terms, along with any policies we reference, make up the entire agreement between you and us regarding our Services, replacing any prior agreements or communications, written or verbal. Any ambiguity won't be interpreted against either party simply because they drafted it.

20. ASSIGNMENT

You can't transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written approval — any attempt to do so is invalid. We, on the other hand, may transfer or assign these Terms at any time without needing your consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where North Alpine is headquartered, and any disputes will be handled in the federal and state courts located there. You agree to that jurisdiction and venue.

Section headings are included for convenience only and don't affect how these Terms are interpreted.

23. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page — it's a good idea to check back periodically. We'll notify you of material changes as required by law, and continuing to use our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
